No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems...

Or, how to pack a carry-on duffel bag for a week long sailing adventure in the British Virgin Islands

1.  Set the mood with the correct music

2.  Get packing list

3.  Get to packing
I was a little nervous when J suggested we take carry-on luggage for our sailing trip.  I've always checked my luggage.  But, with a little self-control, I was able to fit all I'll need in one newly monogrammed Lands' End duffel bag.

Those little blue squares?  Amazing!  They provide some structure to an otherwise open bag AND they can squish your clothes down to a tiny, tiny size.

That ONE square at the top left?  Has two swimsuits (and I don't wear bikinis, y'all), two swimsuit cover-ups AND a belt.  I assume we will spend most of our time in swimsuits, so a couple dresses, a couple t-shirts and shorts and I am good to go.

I'm carrying my beach bag as my purse on the plane and managed to get everything comfortably tucked in.

TSA regulations do not allow for the bajillion gallons of sunscreen the two of us require;  we plan on buying out the sunscreen supply once we arrive to the British Virgin Islands.

BVIs here, we come!
