Stops made 2 - one at a very small corner store where I got a banana. The second stop was at a much nicer, where I got a tonic water and pineapple juice to make a morning mocktail.

Interesting Pilgrims A very kind Italian grandfather who lived in a variety of countries before settling in Milan. His wife is there now while he walks with a friend. I asked how he met his wife. He said, "I was a widow. I met my wife when I was working in Moscow, but my wife was still alive then. When my wife died, I lost the air for about 4 years. Then, my friend from Moscow came to Milan for work. And I said, 'Oh, this is good.' And so, we got married."
I think his term, "lost the air" must have been lost in translation, but I took it to mean he was very sad after his first wife died. What a beautiful term for a soul deep sadness.
