Stops made one in every little town we walked through. It was nice to see the church steeple and know we were heading towards a cafe or a park bench to rest. We had 5k to start, the a town, then a new town every 3-4k. Then 5k at the end with our final destination in mind. Belorado was hidden until the very last minute - I was almost worried that we would never stop walking to get there.
Coffees consumed 2 average coffees. It was so cold today, it was worth the subpar coffee just for the warmth.
A warm welcome for pilgrims Our hostel is in a historic and beautiful building. Hannah, the host, was so kind and helpful at check in. She offered laundry service - wash AND dry! - for 8 Euros. You better believe I took advantage of that offer. I've deduced that she lives in the building in an apartment and used her very own washer and dryer to wash my clothes. When I dropped my basket of clothes off, she said, "Thank you for trusting me with your clothes." She's adorable.
